Ahh...my friends, it is finally over...or at least this chapter is. I am sitting here in the living room of my apartment in San Francisco relaxing with a cup of coffee and writing this message on my roomates computer...the little things. I headed back Tuesday AM and flew direct from London to SF (could Virgin Atlantic be the greatest airline ever? More on that later) where I filled up at my local sushi joint, where they still remembered me (tears welling) and then came home and crashed like a total and complete rock...woke up, of course, at 3:00 AM, but was able to gut it out and fall back asleep for another 4 hours. I almost feel human. Well, London was a blast, spent the time with Taryn and Phillipa, whom I met in Turkey, and basically just hung around saw some stuff and prepared for the actual move back. Now that I am back I am giving myself a 48 hour "What are you going to do now" free zone, where if I am asked I will respond with, "Yes, I do think your ass looks fat in those jeans...", so beware. Anyway, coming soon is going to be the exciting "by the numbers" recap of the trip with such fun stuff as:
How many miles did we cover (roughly)?
How many watches did Neal somehow destroy?
How many times was I offered hasish/marijuana/smoke?
All this and more in the next few days.
I'd like to say to assuage any fears you may have that Neal and I are still friends, amazing, but true.
