Life is still quite fine!
We are still kicking, cooking, and diving in malaysia.
Foir anyone who was confused we are not in Palau, but
on the perhentian islands off of malaysia...South
Chine Sea and shit. We have been cooking up a storm
and having a blast. The diving is fucking great, and
like I said life be good. Neal has split out for the
full moon party in thailand for a few days while I
hold down the fort at the restaurant. Amazingly enough
still no major brawls.
Before I forget, a quick aplogy regarding the
e-mailing. I would respond to everyone, but the
connection is way slow and way expensive here, so it
is a quick hour of waiting and my time is up.
So......if you expect an e-mail and don't get one...I
am trying.
Back to the good stuff. We had a nice party for the
owner of the dive shop last night, and you have not
lived until you have seen a big group of partying
Malay and Westerners getting down to repeat versions
of "Who let the Dogs out"...it is breathtaking.
The diving is kickass, and I am considering doing my
divemaster while I am here, as it would most likely be
free...and you know that is my favorite price. I do
have to admit that everyday, even in paradise has its'
problems...and I have even found myself cursing having
to walk on sand all of the time...I know, I know...I
get no sympathy there. It is interesting however that
the everyday shit still applies, even in the textbook
paradise I am living in...
By the way...there is no doubt..I defintely work
harder here on my travels than I did at
Bravo!...although any of you who worked there with me
know that doesn't say a whole lot...oh well...buh bye,
as I have to bolt back to the other side and open the
restaurant up for dinner...Hopefully, someone will
come in and buy our excellent, gaspacho, humus, or
patatas bravas!!!
